Faced with a global population that is steadily aging, and a demographic shift that is contributing to a shortage of healthcare workers, we recognized the immediate need for a technology-driven revolution in care – in hospitals, in senior residences, and at home, too.
One clear area of need is patient monitoring. Even the most dedicated healthcare workers cannot be everywhere at once, and staff operating over-capacity compounds the problem. care.ai is the first and only AI-powered autonomous monitoring platform for healthcare. Powered by our purpose-built, AI-accelerated edge sensors, our platform transforms ordinary rooms into Self-aware Rooms™.
As an AI company, we are focused on using our transformative innovation to deliver a meaningful impact to healthcare, improving outcomes and saving millions of lives every year; all while allowing providers to focus on what matters most – the emotional support and personalized care that only they can provide.

Prior to that, he was a co-founder of Galvanon, a company which first introduced patient self-service kiosk registration, to automate patient check-in and intake processes at hospitals. Galvanon was acquired by NCR in 2005.
